Acting for over 150 charities the team is regarded as pre-eminent in the field of religious, educational, health and grant-making charities.

Offering a broad range of services, including advising on all aspects of charity law including the formation and registration of charities; ongoing constitutional and governance issues;  financial aspects of a charity’s operations; property matters; and other related matters such as data protection issues, employment issues etc.

The Unit is unique having a specialist Charities Administrator who deals with the day-to-day administration and management of several large grant-making charities. The team has had a number of high-status appointments by the Charity Commission to act as Receiver and Manager in circumstances where charities are facing maladministration or financial difficulties.
